Twitter Post:The Washington Post uses short syntax to address the topic straightforwardly. In the tweet it states how a Russian jet flew 20 feet from a Navy surveillance plane. The precise details make the audience want to click on the article and read it. The audience doesn't know why the Russian jets were flying near a Navy plane, so they would most likely click the article and read it. The use of the picture also helps the audience picture what the Russian jet looked like and it also helps provide more details of the incidence. In the caption below the picture is states that the incident occurred over the Black Sea.

YouTube Video:In this video Washington Post does a great job at getting the audience attention. The Washington Post uses bold font that is large in size in front of a white text box to attract the audience attention. The video is composed of a soft chilling background music that makes the audience feel outraged by the way TSA is performing their pat downs. In the first clip of the boy getting screened is being examined excessively. You can clearly see the TSA officer patting the boy in an absurd manner. Around 1:00 in the video the women expresses her feelings with strong emotions. She creates a critical tone because she states that she has breast cancer and she strongly felt that it was unnecessary to be pat down further.
